The aim of AstraZeneca Global Licensing is to conduct a prompt yet comprehensive evaluation of opportunities that generally encompasses three key steps:

• Initial evaluation of non-confidential data by a Therapy Area Licensing Team, coordinated by the appropriate Licensing Director
• Detailed evaluation of confidential data by an expanded Therapy Area Licensing Team (scientific, medical, commercial, legal), coordinated by the appropriate Licensing Director
• Due Diligence and negotiation of partnering terms by a multifunctional team, led by the appropriate Licensing Director
