AstraZeneca Headquarters Region Funding

At AstraZeneca Headquarters the Corporate Community Alliances (CCA) group within the Health and Community Alliances function is the office that coordinates our community giving efforts. Among its many responsibilities, this group:

• Develops local philanthropy programs
• Coordinates community efforts across the company
• Initiates programs and follows up on their success

In 2005, AstraZeneca contributed almost $30 million to non-profit groups around the country. Locally, more than 130 local nonprofit organizations receive funding from AstraZeneca.

Evaluating programs to support

In evaluating programs to support, the CCA seeks out those that:

• Reflect our company’s mission to improve human health and quality of life.
• Allow AstraZeneca to develop partnerships with nonprofit organizations that impact the community in meaningful ways.
• Make positive and lasting contributions to the communities in our headquarters area.
• Help us maintain a positive reputation in the community.
